IMC Showcases Businesses At Marintec China 2009
Shanghai, 7 December 2009 - IMC participated in the most prominent biennial international maritime event in Asia - Marintec China 2009, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 1 - 4 December 2009. As the largest marine exhibition in China, it attracted 1,200 exhibitors from 28 countries in 18 national/regional pavilions and about 40,000 visitors this year. With a significant 40% increase in the floor area from 2007, Marintec China 2009 covered over 50,000 square metres or five exhibition halls, setting a new milestone for the event.
The IMC booth was part of the Hong Kong Pavilion located at Hall 3 and a total of 10 business units under the IMC Group were represented to showcase our one-stop integrated industrial supply chain solution - Aurora Tankers, Dalian Changxing Island Port Company, IMC Shipping Limited, IMC Shipping Services, IMC Shipping & Engineering (China), MSI Ship Management, MSI Qingdao, NORIMC Shipping (Shanghai), the Unithai Group and Zhoushan IMC-Yongyue Shipyard & Engineering. A large number of business partners and guests from shipyards, ship design institutions, ship managements, marine equipment, spares/stores trading houses, offshore engineering, classification societies and maritime centres visited our booth.
A programme highlight were the well-received cocktail receptions held on 2nd and 3rd December for IMC's business partners, in appreciation of their continued support. It provided an ideal platform for IMC to share invaluable experience and latest industry developments, and strengthen relationships with our business partners. |
